Sr Mkt Manager Member Engagement and Lifecycle

The Senior Marketing Manager Member Engagement & Lifecycle will own the end-to-end member journey, partnering with various teams to deliver effective and personalized member communications while optimizing engagement and retention strategies.

Responsibilities
Own the member lifecycle framework: build awareness → invite → enroll → activate → engage → retain
Define success metrics and conversion benchmarks for each stage
Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve member engagement
Optimize enrollment flows and onboarding journeys
Partner with Product to improve activation experiences
Test and iterate on messaging, timing, and channels
Own planning and execution of email, SMS, push, call, and direct mail campaigns
Build and manage journeys, triggers, and segmentation
Ensure partner- and population-specific customization
Work closely with Implementation and Account Management to follow partner rules
Ensure compliant messaging across health plans and employer groups
Document and govern communication standards
Track engagement, enrollment, activation, and retention metrics
Run A/B tests and experiments to improve funnel performance
Report insights and recommendations to leadership
Partner with cross-functional teams in collaboration on activation and in-app experience; Implementation & Account Management; and Legal/Compliance
Experience with systems & tools ownership with Braze, Member segmentation and journey logic, Preference management, Engagement and conversion reporting
Perform Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5-7+ years lifecycle or growth marketing experience in B2B2C or healthcare
Deep experience with enrollment and member engagement
Strong systems thinker with hands-on marketing automation expertise
Experience working in regulated environments
Proven experience developing and optimizing multi-channel campaigns with measurable outcomes
Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with data to inform strategies and decisions
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze) and testing tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a member-first mindset
Deep empathy for users — especially across underserved or diverse populations
Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and experience working in regulated industries
Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States
