Responsibilities

Maintains and updates the Section Performance Management metrics, in coordination with appropriate Division, Section, and Branch staff
Executes delegated responsibility for and advises Section leadership on monitoring Section and Branch adherence to Office of State Budget and Management and Departmental and Division policies and procedures
Includes Approval and certification of ATC Budget Estimates, Contract Worksheets, and delegated authority for signature on Travel Authorizations, Direct Pay, Docusign and similar materials
Supports Section-level initiatives as assigned, including Section Business Continuity and Continuity of Operations Plans, cross-section alignment, website migration
Supports Division-level initiatives as assigned, including public health accreditation and workforce development activities, representation on DPH Operations Manager workgroup and coordination of HR report distribution updates
Coordinates planning and allocation of Epidemiology Section and Branches space needs
Oversees special projects related to all Branches of the Epidemiology Section as directed by the Section Chief
Includes DPH Budget Office, Business Office and Administration Office requests directly or assigned by Section Chief
Coordinates development and updating of Section Office administrative policies, procedures and protocols
Coordinates with the Section and Branch leadership to interpret State and Federal policies and procedures including actions by the General Assembly that could affect programming objectives and deliverables
Directs section managerial projects and personnel as assigned
Advises operational staff to ensure that contracts developed by all Branches in the Epidemiology Section are effective in meeting Program and Branch public health goals; performance-based and compliant with State, Department and Division requirements; and prepared for timely execution

Required

Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five (5) years of progressive experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
