Arcadia Care is focused on providing quality assisted living services. The Executive Director is responsible for maintaining the community's reputation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the care and welfare of tenants.

Responsibilities

Coordination and supervision of all tenant care

Coordination of all new admissions, discharges, and inquiries

Work with the community Wellness Director and/or nursing staff to ensure that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained

Oversight, supervision, and coordination of maintaining compliance with IDPH and other regulatory agencies including local Health Department, OSHA, etc

Oversight of staff communication concerning tenant needs

Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment or supplies

Oversight and supervision of staff for nutritional planning and meal preparation

Oversight of sanitation for community and staff education on proper food handling

Hire and train new and existing staff

Maintain staffing records

Maintain appropriate staffing of facility taking into consideration acuity of tenants

Implementation of staff discipline as needed with HR guidance

Identification, development, and implementation of in-service education for All-staff meetings

Immediately addressing all hazardous conditions or equipment, initiating interventions or repairs as needed

Report all accidents/incidents to the Director of Clinical Services and Operations

Maintain the confidentiality of resident information and honor his/her personal and property rights

Required

Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age

Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action

Must demonstrate the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public

Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of the facility and equipment for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
