Clinical Administrative Assistant

Positive Impact Health Centers is a community leader in providing HIV prevention, care and treatment services. The Clinical Administrative Assistant will assist with the management of the Clinical Department and support clinical staff, while managing day-to-day operations and coordinating teleECHO sessions initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provides special project and administrative support for the Director of Clinical Care & Assistant Director of Clinical Care
Coordinates productive, goal-oriented and respectful communication between clinic team members
Maintains a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward everyone at all times
Corresponds promptly to work communications, including but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook Email & Microsoft Teams application and Dailpad
Handles data entry as requested using Microsoft Office programs
Assists with the preparation of materials needed for trainings and meetings
Oversees project initiatives and the day to day management of the team working with the ECHO Spokes or specific stakeholders
Works with ECHO Coordinator to create and implement capacity building and quality improvement strategies based on the needs of ECHO Spokes and/or stakeholders
Uses experience with the ECHO Model to train and assistant ECHO Spoke participants in adapting/replicating the ECHO Model
Participated in teleECHO sessions
Develops/implements ECHO training programs
Assists with the development and preparation of marketing and promotional plans and/or materials

Required

High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three years of Administrative Assistant experience is required
Must be experience in working with culturally diverse populations
Must possess excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, listening and speaking)
Must possess excellent organizational skills
Must possess excellent time management skills
Must have strong computer and database system skills
Must have a willingness to learn and adapt to unfamiliar computer and database systems
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
Ability to resolve problems and make decisions
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to work well independently without close supervision
Ability to respond to and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented and be support focused
Ability to abide by all policies and procedures concerning personnel, including conflict of interest policy
Must have an understanding of Project ECHO and willingness to learn iECHO

Preferred

An Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field is preferred
Professional experience working with individuals with HIV or affected by HIV preferred
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
