Responsibilities

Develop CAM programs for 3‑axis and 5‑axis mills and CNC lathes (one‑off and short‑run prototypes)

Set up and operate equipment; select tools, fixtures, and materials fit for the job

Perform in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc., holding tight tolerances

Troubleshoot, optimize feeds/speeds, and refine setups for efficiency and finish

Document rigorously—setup sheets, tooling lists, and traveler updates

Engage in continuous improvement across strategies, tooling, and workflow

Own projects cradle‑to‑grave—from programming to sign‑off
