Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue and client acquisition goals
Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives to ensure consistent performance and growth
Drive new business by identifying and targeting local businesses that can benefit from print and direct mail advertising
Develop and execute sales plans to increase magazine page count and expand into new territories
Conduct regular field visits with sales reps to provide coaching, support, and relationship-building with local business owners
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve team productivity and sales effectiveness
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance
Qualification
Required
3+ years of sales management experience, preferably in print advertising, direct mail, or media sales
Proven track record of leading and growing successful B2B sales teams
Strong ability to recruit, coach, and develop sales professionals
Excellent relationship-building skills with local business owners and decision-makers
Highly motivated, with a strong drive to exceed sales targets
Experience with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies
Ability to travel within the assigned region for field visits and client meetings
