Responsibilities
Review and analyze customer requirements to determine which product will be the best fit
Create customer proposals in compliance with company standards and contract language
Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions for use by other departments such as engineering, sales, estimating, manufacturing, etc
Act as customer contact regarding product quotations and complex pricing, scheduling and shipping and makes pricing decisions
Coordinate expediting activities with other departments to assure accuracy in pricing, delivery, invoicing, etc
Enter orders into the system for customers
Make pricing decisions based on previous standards regularly and customarily
Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively
Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company
Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards
Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred. Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English
At least one year equivalent work experience in sales required (inside or technical sales preferred)
Proficient in MS Office products
Good understanding of business mathematical concepts
Extensive knowledge of company systems and software
