Project Manager
Steven Douglas Corp (SDC) designs and builds custom, automated machines for a variety of applications. They are seeking a Project Manager to guide large, technically challenging projects from kick-off to close out, ensuring they are delivered on budget and on time while acting as a liaison between clients and the SDC team.

Responsibilities
Lead an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, on budget, to specifications, with accuracy and efficiency
Ability to help solve technical problems: quickly evaluate technical risk, create, and manage plan to mitigate risk
Manage changing responsibilities, project prioritization, and workload adjustments by effectively managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs
Keep the project plan accurate and updated
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders
Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors by addressing questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project in a timely and professional manner
Qualification
Required
History of driving projects through best practices, processes and change management
Experience solving technical problems on custom automation equipment
Enjoys hands-on approach to help assist projects to finish line
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong negotiation skills, conflict management and proactive decision making
Ability to develop relationships, build credibility, and establish trust
Strong technical and analytical skills
Ability to effectively lead and manage interdepartmental teams
Proficient with Smartsheet
Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related field
PMP Certification
Experience identifying needs, assigning roles and responsibilities, and managing teams to meet project deliverables
Minimum 3 years' experience with custom automation projects
