Responsibilities

Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security systems and data communication networks
Work with access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems
Install and terminate copper and fiber cabling
Perform system testing, functional checks, and documentation
Collaborate with teammates and other trades to ensure successful project execution

Qualification

Required

2+ year of experience installing low-voltage structured cabling systems (Fiber/Data, Access Control, CCTV, IDS)
Knowledge of low-voltage electronics, wiring, and industry color standards
Experience coordinating work in construction or active jobsite environments
Basic networking knowledge and use of test equipment
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Valid driver's license and ability to pass DMV, drug, and background screenings
Willingness to travel up to 70% and ability to obtain government clearance

Preferred

Lenel, Milestone, or AXIS systems
Federal government or secure facility projects
Networking certifications or advanced technical training
