Responsibilities
Design highly engaging user interfaces for Wahoo’s consumer-facing mobile application
Ensure a seamless user experience across Wahoo’s digital touchpoints, including the mobile app, bike computers, and website
Apply strong visual design expertise to craft simple, intuitive, and aesthetically refined interfaces
Contribute to and evolve the Design System to ensure consistency and scalability
Use design thinking to navigate ambiguity and solve complex product challenges
Rapidly iterate using low-to-mid-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes
Conduct usability testing to validate assumptions and refine designs
Define design requirements informed by user research, product goals, and technical constraints
Perform qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape engaging product experiences
Ensure a seamless, cohesive experience across all Wahoo digital products
Work closely with engineers to maintain design intent and optimize implementation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in UX design within an agency, startup, or product-focused environment
Strong portfolio demonstrating research-driven, user-centered designs
Expertise in visual design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
Ability to design simple, intuitive interfaces with a systematic approach
Experience designing consumer-facing digital products
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to give and receive feedback effectively
Proficiency in Figma
Experience designing for iOS and Android platforms
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
Experience working in agile environments
Preferred
Expertise in designing for devices with limited technical capabilities, such as bike computers
Experience working with hardware or integrated systems
Passion for endurance sports
