Responsibilities
Support industry leading scientists and engineers in the development of maintainable cloud native applications and backend service-oriented architecture components
Provide technical support in application architecture and development and continuous integration and continuous deployment
Build services that enhance data analysis and decision-making processes
Interface with a wide variety of Engineering and Technology Group (ETG), launch, satellite, and other program office customers
Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed
Foster innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Training and mentorship will be provided
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Proficiency in Python and MERN
Experience leveraging virtualization for developer environments
Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for automatic deployment to Kubernetes
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

Strong written and oral communication skills
Must work well in a team environment
Possess organizational, time management and project management skills
Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational need
Interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
Preferred
GPA 3.5 or higher
Active security clearance
Experience developing Full Stack applications with microservice architecture
Experience in Go and Typescript
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
Proficiency in cloud services
