Responsibilities

Identifies and evaluates opportunities to grow backhaul and logistics income in a defined geographic area
Negotiates carriers’ contracted freight rates, implementing programs and the management and evaluation of line-haul carriers to increase revenues and optimize profitability
Prepares and approves carrier bills, resolves complaints, and coordinates activities across departments

Required

Must be local, not a remote position
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 years' experience in Logistics or related field
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with great attention to detail
Job will require organizational skills and consistent communication with other departments
Successful candidate will be able to multi-task and prioritize
Microsoft Office exp. (New Grads Welcome)

Preferred

Foodservice experience a plus
