Responsibilities
Design and Develop: Build and maintain scalable, healthcare AI applications using Java and React
Architect Solutions: Design robust, performant, and maintainable system architectures, focusing on cloud application best practices
Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into effective solutions
Optimize Performance: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high application availability and efficiency
Innovate: Contribute to the development of cutting-edge features leveraging the power of AI and machine learning
Code Review: Participate in code reviews to foster knowledge sharing and best practices across the team
Maintain Quality: Write thorough tests and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability
Deployment and Support: Assist with the development, deployment, and support of on-prem and cloud-based solutions, spanning from internal development to customer production systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
4+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on full-stack development, including backend APIs, frontend UI, system integrations, and user authentication
Deep expertise in Java programming, including experience designing and implementing highly optimized and scalable architectures
Experience with building enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Spring Boot, React, UX design frameworks, and relational and document databases
Proven experience in developing and deploying cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming REST APIs
Strong experience with relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and document databases, including MongoDB and derivatives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare domain, including HL7 and FHIR
Experience with AI/ML concepts and frameworks
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Working knowledge of containers (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
