Senior Network Administrator (TS/SCI with Poly Clearance Required)

Responsibilities
Provide project leadership to ensure that project deliverables and schedules are met by technical resources; manage escalation to the appropriate IT resource management when needed; provide feedback to technical resource manager on the performance of technical staff
Translate customer and business requirements into practical and affordable solutions; minimize customizations
Monitor and communicate the financial aspects of each project, such as review billing charges, mitigate budget, and actual variances
Facilitate evaluation and vendor selection of business solutions using established selection methodology when applicable
Participate with cross-functional team members in issue identification, process impacts, and solution development discussions to optimize end-to-end solutions
Leverage outside vendors, contractors, technical teams, and other departments to drive for results
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Security + certification required
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
Demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Installing, configuring and managing CISCO Switches and routers, Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Problem Solving, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study, Technical Zeal
Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program). Some positions may require an increased level of computer knowledge, depending on the required duties of the position
Preferred
Accredited degree or global equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
May require Certified Network Engineer (CNE or CNE/NT) or Certified Network Administrator (CNA) credentials or other applicable certifications
Seven (7) years of Information Technology (IT) related experience in one or more of the following areas: data communications engineering, data and/or voice communications, hardware or software analysis, network administration, or management or data and/or voice communications equipment installation and maintenance
Effectively adapts to rapidly changing technology and applies it to business needs
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Demonstrated strong technical and non-technical communication and presentation skills in both oral and written formats
