The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Member Growth & Development to lead new member acquisition and revenue growth while serving as a trusted advisor to the business community. This role is responsible for expanding the Chamber’s membership base and supporting members through advertising and marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities

Lead new member acquisition and revenue growth

Educate prospective members on the mission, value, and benefits of Chamber involvement

Proactively identify, cultivate, and secure new members to meet and exceed annual budgeted revenue goals

Support Chamber members through the sale of advertising and marketing opportunities across Chamber publications and platforms

Represent the Chamber at events, supporting members, and contributing to overall organizational success

Qualification

Required

Proven sales record

Good working knowledge of The Chamber and its programs and events

Professional demeanor with a positive attitude

Highly motivated and organized

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Enjoy working with the public

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, senior influencers, current and prospective members, affiliates, volunteers and teams

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years' experience in customer service, membership-based organizations, or relationship management

Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and the internet

Availability for before or after work hours as needed for meetings and events
