Responsibilities
Develop structural designs for power plants, renewable energy facilities, and transmission infrastructure
Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASCE, AISC, Eurocode, etc.)
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs
Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during construction phases
Ensure designs meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable
5+ years of experience in structural design within the Power & Energy sector
Proficiency in at least one structural analysis software (e.g., RISA3D, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS etc.)
AutoCAD experience
Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must be based in the US for consideration with minimum 3+ years of US experience
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of 4 years of solar structural design, substation or transmission foundation design, wind or battery storage
