The Quality Senior is responsible for monitoring wood parts during manufacturing to ensure they meet performance specifications and customer quality requirements while supporting production goals through hands-on support and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

Perform designated audits and inspections following department audit schedule, including Control Plan Audits, assisting with tooling checks, calibration checks, finished product inspections and assisting with process audits

Provide manufacturing support pertaining to quality related subjects, such as non-conforming materials or parts, with assistance from senior quality members or technicians as needed

Understand and interpret audit and calibration results with the ability to communicate findings to production associates, trainers, and floor management; elevating to senior quality members and technicians as needed

Assist with on-the-floor training and communication of quality specifications, measurement devices, and procedures

Support production efforts by taking on key roles within the department, engaging directly within production processes to gain a practical understanding of tasks and operational challenges to overcome, using the experience to support team goals and contribute to the consistent output of high-quality products
