Senior Regulatory Analyst
The California Public Utilities Commission is one of the State’s lead agencies working to reduce carbon emissions and encourage sustainability in California. The Senior Regulatory Analyst will be part of a team of energy professionals responsible for solving complex regulatory problems and overseeing initiatives aimed at decarbonizing buildings.

Responsibilities
Assist with the oversight of the Technology and Equipment for Clean Heating (TECH) Initiative and other incentive programs aimed at decarbonizing buildings
Contribute to policy development in the CPUC's Building Decarbonization Proceeding (R.19-01-011)
Provide regulatory oversight for large energy programs
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Develop technical research and oversee evaluation studies
Lead meetings and provide presentations
Achieve the state's goals of addressing climate change through building electrification
Qualification
Required
Eligibility for the classification(s)
Experience related to public utilities and/or transportation in the areas of economics, finance, or policy
Ability to conduct technical, economic, financial and/or policy research and analysis
Ability to collaborate with colleagues and establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships
Completed STD 678 application form
Completed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
Submission of a copy of transcript or diploma if using education to meet minimum qualifications
Verification of United States course/degree equivalency for foreign education
Complete employment information on the STD 678 state application with dates, duties and responsibilities, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors
