Responsibilities
Provide premier customer service, face-to-face and via telephone
Manages stock levels and makes decisions about stock control
Assists the Director of Marketing in:
Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
Uses information technology to record sales figures and manage business contacts
Responds to customer complaints and comments
Promotes the organization on a local level
Maintains an awareness of market trends in the area and industry
Initiates change to improve business to include:
Telephone prospecting
Suggests promotions
Suggests and executes marketing events
Interacts with key account managers, territory managers, and outside sales reps as necessary to meet customer service goals
Purchases store supplies
Keeps the store clean, orderly, and safe for customers and employees
Performs other duties as requested by manager
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service, sales or retail store sales required, preferably in hydraulics or pneumatics
Customer focus, drive, and enthusiasm
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to grasp new concepts and generate creative ideas
Entrepreneurial perspective
