Responsibilities

Understand market trends, supply chain dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform sourcing decisions

Build strong relationships with suppliers and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams

Independently create, manage, and track purchase orders using ERP systems

Forecast demand using historical data, market signals, and statistical tools

Set and adjust MRP parameters (lead time, safety stock, reorder points)

Monitor supplier performance and execute scorecards and improvement initiatives

Balance inventory levels to meet service goals while minimizing carrying costs

Manage logistics decisions for timely delivery and cost efficiency

Execute root cause analysis and corrective actions for supply disruptions

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Maintain ethical sourcing practices and data integrity
