Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex projects related to accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and performance improvement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients on accounting standards, policies, procedures, and best practices
Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of consultants and accountants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
Collaborate with partners, directors and senior managers across the firm on cross-functional and cross-service line initiatives
Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, issues, and challenges in the accounting and consulting industry
Demonstrate leadership, integrity, professionalism, and commitment to the firm's values and mission
Monitor and check staff performance levels, ensuring that work is carried out within set deadlines, budget, and quality standards
Responsible for the development, coaching and training of all levels of staff
Participates in reviews and evaluations of consulting professionals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or Economics, preferred
You have a minimum of 7+ years in public accounting firm or within an accounting department, demonstrating a proven progression in complexity, scope, required
You have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), required
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
Preferred
You have experience using Caseware, preferred
You have knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, Munis, Incode, preferred
