Responsibilities
Responsible for providing exceptional service & hospitality to Members and guests
Provide a warm welcome and facilitate member seating after they arrive
Monitor the open dining sections of the establishment for empty and cleaned tables
Estimate and communicate wait times for members. Monitoring the guest waiting list and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting
Responsible for answering the telephone, booking reservations, and moving tables together to accommodate large parties
May take a member’s initial drink order. Depending on volume, Hostess may need to fill the drink order or pass the order along to the responsible Server
Maintain an accurate dining room occupancy chart
Supports the F&B Team to ensure quality service
Reports concerns to F&B Manager to ensure appropriate resolution
Maintain an orderly and organized work area
Adhere to established rules and regulations of the Club, while working scheduled shifts
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 years' experience preferred in an upscale dining venue, preferably in a private club
Professional demeanor
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Able to follow instructions
Possess an outstanding attitude and team-centered outlook
