Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and execute 8–12 concurrent high-complexity events, including incentive trips, multi-day retreats, and high-production programs
Serve as the primary strategic contact for clients, offering consultative guidance and creative solutions aligned to business objectives
Manage all aspects of event execution: budget creation, venue and vendor sourcing, production, logistics, and reconciliation
Oversee event budgets of $500K–$2M+, balancing client goals with BoomPop’s margin targets and cost efficiency
Partner cross-functionally with Sourcing, Creative, Product, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery
Mentor Event Managers by sharing best practices, reviewing plans, and helping solve complex challenges
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance scalability, efficiency, and profitability across the Events org
Lead post-event reviews to surface learnings and drive continuous improvement
Model operational excellence, proactive communication, and a calm, solution-oriented approach in every client interaction
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional experience in end-to-end event management, including large-scale, complex, or high-production events
Demonstrated success managing 8–12 simultaneous programs with budgets of $500K–$2M+
Proven ability to serve as a trusted client partner and strategic advisor
Strong vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and relationship management experience
Deep understanding of budget management, margin protection, and reconciliation
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience mentoring or influencing others, even without direct management
Startup mindset — agile, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
Willing and able to travel up to 10% for onsite execution or team offsites
