Talent Acquisition Specialist (Temporary Position)
ARUP Laboratories is a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and an enterprise of the University of Utah. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to deliver recruitment services for assigned non-exempt positions, manage candidate activity, and ensure an excellent candidate experience.

Responsibilities
Represents the organization for prospective candidates; a key point of contact for recruitment activities
Assists hiring supervisors to identify expectations, clarify process and provide regular updates
Promotes recruiting strategies specific to assigned positions, using designated resources to identify and attract quality candidates. Utilizes employment branding practices, tactical outreach and referral generation, corporate events, job fairs, networking, and pipelining efforts
Identifies qualified candidates and manages the pre-screening process for high volume non-exempt positions to ensure minimum qualifications are met
Sources, identifies, recruits and screens potential candidates, administers appropriate assessments, checks references, and communicates offers of employment for non-exempt position openings as assigned
Manages candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Collaborates with internal team members to promote and facilitate hiring needs
Cultivates and maintains excellent relationships and consistent communication with candidates and hiring supervisors to promote teamwork and credibility
Recognizes priorities, manages deadlines and exercises professionalism in interactions with internal and external clients
Maintains established performance criteria with respect to quality, process efficiency, productivity and speed
Ensures an excellent candidate experience
Helps drives strong satisfaction ratings with hiring supervisors and managers, applicants, candidates and other leaders in the organization
Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
Communicate: Frequently communicate with others
PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies
ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling
Vision: Having close, far, and peripheral visual acuity to perform a variety of tasks such as make general observations of depth and distance
