Accurately review, prepare, and submit medical and dental insurance claims daily
Post insurance payments and ensure timely collection from patients and insurers
Maintain and audit patient accounts; send statements and process collections as needed
Proactively contact insurance carriers to follow up on outstanding claims
Run reports, process patient payments, and reconcile account balances
Serve as a resource and advocate for patients with billing questions or coverage concerns
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies at all times
