Responsibilities
Investigating jurisdiction-specific regulations and translating complex compliance requirements into executable action plans with AI-assisted research and primary-source verification
Drafting and submitting accurate, complete permit applications — including business licenses, fire inspections, health approvals, and educational exemptions — and managing them through to final approval
Coordinating across municipal staff, contractors, and internal teams to ensure construction milestones align with regulatory timelines
Maintaining live tracking systems and status dashboards that surface progress, blockers, and upcoming priorities for cross-functional stakeholders
Traveling 3-4 days per week to U.S. cities to advance school openings through on-the-ground execution and relationship building
Qualification
Required
U.S.-based and legally authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship
Available to travel 60-80% of the time to various U.S. cities and states
Proven experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity) to support research, workflow design, or stakeholder communication
Strong communicator — approachable and articulate on calls, precise in written correspondence, persuasive with external partners
History of consistently meeting or beating deadlines in high-tempo work settings
Meticulous attention to detail — every document, approval, and follow-up must be accurate and complete
Rapid learning capability — able to absorb and apply new regulatory frameworks, operational processes, or software tools quickly
Skilled at managing multiple concurrent workstreams, deadlines, and external relationships
Preferred
Prior involvement in construction-related, operations-intensive, or regulatory compliance roles (including internships)
Academic or professional background in public policy, business administration, communications, or legal fields
Demonstrated problem-solving in logistically complex scenarios through employment, internships, or community work
