Responsibilities

Organizing data from disparate sources to yield pivotal insights

Building advanced technology solutions and implementing data engineering activities

Deploying and developing pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful

Guiding a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers

Managing the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms

Required

5+ years of experience in application development using Databricks, PySpark

5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale

3+ years of experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data

3+ years of experience building scalable ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics

Experience with aviation, geospatial, and weather datasets

Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support the project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
