Business Development Representative
Parkwood Behavioral Health System is a provider of behavioral health and chemical dependency services in the Mid-South region. The Business Development Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships to optimize utilization of the hospital's services, as well as engaging in sales, marketing, and customer service activities.

Responsibilities
Achieving optimal utilization of Parkwood’s continuum of care by developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in the MS Delta/Jackson, MS market
Provides Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department
Participates in the Account Management system
Assessing the needs of the customer and making the required number of marketing contacts to each account
Develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives
Plans events
Provides tours
Performs referral source in-services
Acts as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital
Seeks out new business development opportunities for the hospital
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in a marketing or human services field
Sales experience or clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population required
Prefer experience in developing new territories in target markets with customer base
Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology
Preferred
Knowledge of business development techniques
