Douglas Fast Net is one of Oregon’s top fiber internet providers, delivering high-speed fiber internet to homes and businesses. They are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Administrative & HR Assistant to support operations and assist with various HR functions.

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative and office support — scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, preparing correspondence, managing reports, and maintaining electronic filing systems

Assist with HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, safety programs, and employee file management

Support DFN Board of Directors meetings through preparation of agendas and documentation

Coordinate company events, training sessions, and building maintenance needs

Manage insurance documentation, assist with renewals and claims, and ensure compliance with coverage requirements

Help maintain accurate company records and respond to regulatory inquiries (e.g., BBB, FCC)

Perform other related projects and administrative duties as needed

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

2–4 years of experience in office administration or HR

Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities

Supports team efforts by pitching in where needed

Discretion in handling confidential information

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new platforms (HRIS, LMS, electronic filing). Heavy use of Word and Excel is required in this position as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro

Ability to read and interpret legal or compliance documents

Professional, positive, and customer-service oriented demeanor

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
