The role involves assisting the Mercer ATF supervisor in coordinating programming and supervising Direct Support Professionals, ensuring proper implementation of individual support plans and daily schedules.

Responsibilities
Must be fluent in all assigned individuals’ ISPs and monitor progress
Assist in training staff in necessary procedures and techniques, and the individuals’ ISP
Participate in 24 hours of annual in-servicing as required by governing regulations and attend meetings as required
Pass medication and complete documentation
Ensure implementation of goal objectives, plans, and procedures
Implement daily schedules; clear any changes through the Program Specialist
Report policy infractions to Program Specialist
Set up the day program daily
Work in the capacity of a DSP, assist with community outing (planning, participate, and transportation)
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Must possess working knowledge of current practices in the IDD field
Must have excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate with individuals and staff and to prepare necessary written documentation
Must possess the ability and the empathy needed to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with DSPs and other supervisory staff
Must also demonstrate superior leadership and organizational skills
High School Diploma or GED
Must be proficient in utilizing a computer
Must also have all required clearances and maintain a valid driver's license
