Responsibilities
Prepare proposals for emerging solicitations to USG, to include SBIR/OTAs, and commercial opportunities
Convert technical documentation (sensor specs, cloud architecture, deployment logistics) into clear, persuasive proposals
Work directly with growth, engineering, and operations to collect content and shape solution narratives
Manage proposal timelines, content development, compliance checks, and submission logistics
Build and maintain a reusable proposal content library, boilerplate language, and past-performance summaries (as company history grows)
Assist with capture planning, early-stage bid strategy, and customer-facing materials (capability statements, one-pagers, slide decks)
Qualification
Required
2–5 years experience in technical or government-related proposal writing or business development — ideally in a startup or technology environment
Excellent writing, editing, and narrative development skills. Comfort learning technical sensor, data, or engineering concepts quickly
Strong organizational and project management ability, comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced work
Flexibility to wear multiple hats — writing, coordination, capture support, business-development tasks
Self-starter mentality: comfortable working autonomously, making decisions, and operating with limited process or guidance
