Responsibilities

Reconciling cash drawers and preparing receipts for deposit
Researching reasons for any issues in balancing cash, check, credit card, Interdepartmental transfers and other transactions
Counting reserve funds and ensuring an adequate supply of change on hand
Data entry of cash receipts
Assisting accounts payable manager with various financial operations including invoice reconciliation and voucher preparation
May run the point of sale system and be available for customer service when needed
Deliveries and pickups at the Colonnade Building, including change for petty cash reimbursements
General department filing
Run tape for daily and month totals to check against reports
Check vendor statements against processed invoices for missed or late bills
Contact vendors for paperwork (W-9s, credit memos, invoices)
Match receiving slips to accounts for pay-out and process for payment
Prep vendor checks for mailing

Required

Experience in reconciling cash drawers and preparing receipts for deposit
Ability to research reasons for any issues in balancing cash, check, credit card, Interdepartmental transfers and other transactions
Skill in counting reserve funds and ensuring an adequate supply of change on hand
Proficiency in data entry of cash receipts
Experience assisting accounts payable manager with various financial operations including invoice reconciliation and voucher preparation
Ability to run the point of sale system and provide customer service when needed
Capability to handle deliveries and pickups at the Colonnade Building, including change for petty cash reimbursements
Experience in general department filing
Ability to run tape for daily and month totals to check against reports
Skill in checking vendor statements against processed invoices for missed or late bills
Experience contacting vendors for paperwork (W-9s, credit memos, invoices)
Ability to match receiving slips to accounts for pay-out and process for payment
Experience prepping vendor checks for mailing
Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
Ability to secure independent housing or reside within a commutable distance
