Responsibilities
Conduct in-state and out of state audits and investigations of the most difficult, complex, and sensitive accounts typically involving the largest employers with multiple status issues and computerized accounting systems
Identify and develop audit leads for out of state and local Area Audit Office (AAO)
Serve as the Department's audit and compliance representative in an out-stationed office, or in a headquarters setting; develops guidelines, training courses, and formulates policy and procedures to assist management in the administration of the Employment Tax Program
Incumbent can serve as a leadperson, assisting with training of new auditors and may act as a mentor
Qualification
Required
