Responsibilities
Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities
Supporting program meetings, providing project status, and interfacing with a multi-discipline team
Designing, developing, and testing air vehicle software, firmware, and hardware, and integrating stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility
Debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs as part of the integration team
Integrating, testing, verifying, and validating the system and various subsystems
Using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware and software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing
Interpreting customer needs, working with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and providing technical feedback to the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline
Experience integrating hardware and software
Interim Secret Clearance
Ability to interpret customer needs
Ability to work with the team to develop software solutions
Ability to provide technical feedback
Detail-oriented and analytical individual
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Experience as an engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL design and simulation analysis
Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses
HWIL real-time, closed-loop simulation experience is desired
Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus
