Regional HRBP - Sales - H

Responsibilities
Actively promote and reinforce Flowers Foods corporate values and culture
Promote the strategic relationship between HR and management to define business challenges and translate them into focused HR initiatives. Partner with DSD sales leadership as the primary HR strategic advisor for a region
Act as an escalation point for DSD sales HR leaders regarding labor and employee relations inquiries
Network and collaborate with HR Sales Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to establish a common innovation agenda
Actively listen to various points of view to arrive at the best solutions
Embrace and drive change for HR programs
Support employee engagement and cultural programs and initiatives
Monitor HR data and trends to provide insights and evaluate program effectiveness
Willingness to travel regionally as necessary
Coach and support regional HR and business leaders on employee relations strategies that drive an inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and engaged
Manage and build a strategic talent pipeline through recruiting, talent development, performance management, and leadership development strategies
Assist Sales HRBP’s in training and development for the DSD sales leadership team
Provide regional input to ensure HR programs are feasible for DSD sales
Interpret HR policies and approve exceptions within delegated authority; escalate as necessary
Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures
Perform other duties deemed integral to the job by management
Implement and support enterprise-wide labor relations strategies at the regional level in alignment with business and HR objectives
Partner with the Sr Director of Labor Relations with overseeing the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements in the assigned region
Partner with legal and HR to ensure contract compliance and address grievances and arbitration matters
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study is required
An HR leadership professional with at least 7 years of HR experience with strategic and operational experience across multiple functions of HR
Experience leading Positive Employee Relations strategy across manufacturing and/or sales, includes partnering with talent management on leadership training curriculums
Experience in labor contract administration
Provide regional input to ensure HR programs are feasible for DSD sales
Interpret HR policies and approve exceptions within delegated authority; escalate as necessary
Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures
Perform other duties deemed integral to the job by management

Preferred
An Advanced Degree, such as a Master's Degree (MS) is preferred
Preferred experience: Working knowledge and interpretation of the National Labor Relations Act and Weingarten Act; experience with arbitration, mediation, and contract negotiations
