Responsibilities

Lead and manage all catering, private dining, and special event sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue goals
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, social event planners, and local partners
Oversee the full event lifecycle, from initial inquiry and contract negotiation through execution and post-event follow-up
Collaborate closely with culinary, operations, and service teams to ensure flawless delivery and guest satisfaction
Create and manage event proposals, contracts, menus, and pricing strategies
Analyze sales performance, forecasting, and market trends to drive growth opportunities
Lead, mentor, and develop the events and sales team, fostering a team-oriented and performance-driven culture
Ensure compliance with brand standards, operational procedures, and service excellence expectations

Required

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar setting, within restaurants or food and beverage operations
At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within a hotel, restaurant group, or large-scale venue
Proven success in catering, events, or F&B sales with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment to achieve the organization's common goal of guest satisfaction
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Strong knowledge of New York City hospitality and events market
