MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Responsibilities

Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture
Diagnose and perform repairs on equipment and systems across guest rooms, public spaces, restaurants, casino, and back-of-house areas
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, kitchen, and HVAC systems
Complete minor cosmetic repairs and installations for furniture, fixtures, and equipment
Assist in shift turnover by communicating pending work orders and unresolved maintenance issues
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum 5 years of hotel or facility maintenance experience
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
Knowledge and/or certification in one or more of the following: plumbing, air handling, refrigeration, electricity, electronics, carpentry, flooring, kitchen equipment, or upholstery
This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana
At least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
Frequently push/pull up to 100 lbs
Frequently lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist
Regularly stand and walk throughout shift
Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person
Ability to distinguish between shades of color
Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
Ability to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolding, and/or ramps

Preferred

Southern Nevada pool certification preferred
5 years of plumbing experience preferred
Proven experience delivering high-quality guest service
