Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the operating room
Answering phone calls
Directing and assisting both internal and external customers
Scheduling surgical cases
Payroll activities for staff
Ordering supplies
Assisting with vendor credentialing activities
Works directly with the perioperative manager and director, the supply chain purchaser, CRM, OR Analyst and scheduling, as a team, to achieve the highest quality, most efficient and cost effective service for every perioperative patient
Responsible to the Manager/ Director of Surgical Services
Direct responsibility for integration of information systems/data analysis of Meditech/SMART
Accurate data entry or direction of such, of patient charges
Qualification
Required
Clerical skills to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the operating room
Answering phone calls, directing and assisting both internal and external customers
Scheduling surgical cases
Payroll activities for staff
Ordering supplies
Assisting with vendor credentialing activities
Works directly with the perioperative manager and director, the supply chain purchaser, CRM, OR Analyst and scheduling
Responsible to the Manager/Director of Surgical Services
Direct responsibility for integration of information systems/data analysis of Meditech/SMART
Accurate data entry or direction of such, of patient charges
Preferred
High School or GED preferred
1 – 3 years of secretary experience preferred
