Aflac is a Fortune 500 company and an industry leader in voluntary insurance products. They are seeking a Claims Support Coordinator who will assist claims team partners with eligibility verification, maintain client communications, and support management with special projects.

Responsibilities

Assists claims team partners by leveraging systems and documented processes to complete the initial eligibility verification on all new claims filed
Maintains ownership of client specific email box to ensure timely processing of incoming mail and the creation of new claims as needed
Researches outstanding items to resolution
Prints and mails communications as needed
Builds effective working relationships with internal partner teams
Reviews daily and weekly reports to ensure accuracy of assigned work items
Remains current on customer service policies and procedures
Prioritizes multiple tasks and works independently to some degree
Supports management with special projects as necessary
Performs other duties as assigned

Current knowledge of the absence management industry a plus
State of Connecticut Resident
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2 - 4 years of related experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
