Sea Logistics Customer Care Key Account Manager

Kuehne+Nagel is a global leader in logistics, and they are seeking a Sea Logistics Customer Care Key Account Manager to enhance customer relationships and ensure operational excellence. The role involves managing post-sale customer interactions, collaborating with internal teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, building trust and driving proactive communication
Lead customer touchpoints (reviews, planning sessions) to strengthen engagement and alignment
Monitor account trends to identify risks and opportunities; support cross-selling and up-selling initiatives
Collaborate with internal teams (OCC, Sales, Trade, CCLs) to ensure operational excellence and service delivery
Manage onboarding for new accounts, maintain SOPs, and ensure compliance
Resolve service issues quickly, manage claims, and coordinate with carriers for timely solutions
Track KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with customer needs

Required

4+ years in Freight Forwarding, preferably Sea Logistics
Strong background in Sea Logistics and proven customer-facing experience
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing customer needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EDI/API integrations and BI tools (Tableau a plus)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
