Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to proprietary trading applications
Communicate incident updates and resolutions to users in a timely and effective manner
Monitor and analyze trading system performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
Ensure system stability and uptime during trading hours
Develop automation tools and scripts to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes
Conduct detailed investigations into complex system behaviors to determine root causes and implement optimizations
Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in application support, site reliability engineering, or managing high-performance systems
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a production environment is required
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus), databases (SQL and MongoDB), and data-driven analysis is a plus
Familiarity with enterprise Linux distributions such as CentOS, RHEL, or Rocky Linux is preferred
Self-motivated with a strong passion for engineering and technical problem-solving
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, traders, and other stakeholders

Preferred
