Responsibilities

Manage and personally oversee employee relations matters and investigations; provide counsel to leaders at all levels and ensure compliance with employment laws
Develop and implement staff development and training initiatives
In partnership with General Counsel, manage employment-related litigation, third-party complaints, and agency matters, keeping leadership informed as appropriate
Investigate, document, prepare written responses, and manage appeals for workforce-related claims
Advise management on employee issues, Company policies, and the interpretation and application of local, state, and federal employment laws
Partner with Operations to lead the end-to-end administration of the Company’s performance management process, training, and recruiting
Utilize Paycom to design, analyze, and interpret reports and make data-driven recommendations to reduce turnover
Develop, interpret, and maintain Human Resources policies, procedures, and SOPs, ensuring full regulatory compliance
Partner on training efforts when new or revised employment policies and procedures are introduced
Stay current on employment law, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
Oversee and actively support the HR team in the administration of Total Rewards programs, including:
Onboarding
Compensation
Benefits and retirement plans
HRIS management and optimization
Leave management (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, PTO)
Payroll processing
Ensure Total Rewards programs are compliant, efficient, and cost-effective
Lead ongoing HR process improvement initiatives
Oversee and direct the performance of the Total Rewards Manager and function
Supervise, coach, and support Human Resources staff, setting clear priorities and expectations
Partner with Finance, Operations, and Legal to ensure HR practices align with business needs
Represent Human Resources in internal leadership meetings as required
Consult with General Counsel to ensure HR policies remain compliant with applicable laws
Represent Human Resources at internal and external meetings
Participate in recruiting, marketing, social media, and employer branding initiatives
Participate in company outings and team-building events

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including employee relations, Total Rewards, and Payroll
Minimum of five (5) years managing Human Resources staff
Strong background as an HR Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner
Significant experience with Total Rewards programs, HRIS platforms, and Payroll administration

Preferred

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
