Harris County Precinct 4 is seeking a Road Maintenance Intern to assist in maintaining and repairing roads, bridges, and easements. The intern will perform various manual tasks including cleaning ditches, trimming branches, and patching potholes.

Cleans ditches and culverts of brush, trash, and rubbish

Trims overhanging branches and bushes

Patches potholes with asphalt and repairs concrete sidewalks

Picks up trash along roadways and rights-of-way

Uses shovels, rakes, weed eaters, and other equipment
