Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Translating customer needs into clear, actionable system requirements
Designing and analyzing system-level requirements for hardware and software
Developing and maintaining system software requirements
Collaborating with software development and verification teams
Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues across hardware and software
Coordinating with flight control system interfaces
Supporting hardware/software checkout and system bench development
Investigating and resolving integration challenges and customer-reported issues
Driving enhancements and continuous improvement for Gulfstream and other programs
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
Experience: 6+ years in avionics or display systems development and analysis
Eligibility: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to export control requirements)
Systems engineering experience with display systems
Strong background in defining and analyzing system-level requirements
Hands-on experience resolving hardware/software integration issues
Familiarity with tools like multimeters, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
Preferred
Advanced degree in Aerospace or Systems Engineering
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
Knowledge of avionics certification standards
Ability to solve complex technical problems within schedule and budget
Integration and test experience in lab or flight environments
Familiarity with configuration management tools (ClearCase/ClearQuest)
Background in debugging/testing avionics systems using simulation or hardware-in-loop environments
