They are seeking an Electrical Project Manager/Estimator responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates, determining project scope, and maintaining relationships with general contractors.

Responsibilities

Determine the scope of work by reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings

Perform accurate takeoffs and quantify estimates

Capable of reading engineering drawings, developing practical plans and providing solutions

Obtain quotes as needed from subcontractors and vendors

Determine which vendors and subcontractors to use on the projects

Develop a project schedule for each project

Safety and quality conscious

Maintaining good working relationships with General Contractors and multi-tasking skills are critical

Required

3-5+ years of experience with a proven track record of managing/bidding a wide variety of electrical construction projects -Minimum project values $1M

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Prior electrical field experience, Journeyman or Foreman is a plus

Must have good experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

1 year or more of experience using Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick estimating software or Excel

Must be coachable and willing to learn the client's business process and methods

Team player with a positive attitude and is self-motivated

Knowledge of construction practices and methods
