Responsibilities

Manages and maintains the technical aspects of FinWise Bank’s network, including firewalls, switches, and wireless networks

Oversees the implementation and operation of cyber security tools and processes

Leads and mentors a team of cyber security analysts

Collaborates with Information Systems and Information Security teams to ensure the security and performance of the bank’s infrastructure

Develops and enforces security policies and procedures

Monitors network traffic for unusual activity and responds to security incidents

Manages and designs a multi-site, multi-cloud network

Stays up to date with the latest network technologies, cyber security trends and threats

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience

Experience with firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and other network technologies

Knowledge of cyber security tools and best practices

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and leadership abilities

Proven experience in network management and cyber security

8 Years of relevant experience

Must demonstrate ability to design and troubleshoot a complex network

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth)

Knowledge of network traffic analysis, network systems management principles, models, methods (e.g., end-to-end systems performance monitoring), and tools
