Atlantic Group is hiring a Director of Accounts Payable in Gloucester County, NJ, with our client. This role oversees all AP operations, vendor management, payment processing, and systems in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee high-volume AP functions including vendor relations, payment processing, 1099 reporting, and day-to-day team management
Implement and refine AP policies, controls, and workflows while supporting the Epicor-to-Kinetic ERP migration
Lead AP month-end close activities, reconcile postings, and monitor KPIs such as DPO, invoice aging, and payment accuracy
Ensure timely, accurate disbursements across multiple payment channels (ACH, credit card, lockbox, emailed and manual checks)
Drive AP automation initiatives, strengthen three-way match performance, enhance EDI adoption, and streamline end-to-end AP processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7-12 years in accounting or AP
3+ years of management or supervisory experience within a high-volume AP environment
Advanced Excel proficiency
Strong experience in large ERP systems
1099 processing experience
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage daily AP operations while driving strategic process improvements in high-volume environments

Preferred

Epicor/Kinetic experience
Background in distribution, logistics, or PE-backed environments
