IT Support Specialist

The Bridge Foundation is dedicated to opening doors for young people by introducing them to pathways in STEM and healthcare. They are seeking a volunteer IT Support Specialist responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring cybersecurity protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting technical issues
Maintaining and configuring hardware and software
Ensuring cybersecurity protocols are followed
Supporting colleagues with IT-related concerns
Making sure that all systems meet organizational and user requirements
Help implement new technologies
Provide training and documentation for users as needed

Required

Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for effectively resolving technical issues
Experience with system configuration and cybersecurity best practices
Knowledge of IT support processes and experience in providing technical training or support to users
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work well with a team and on-site at the designated location

Preferred

Previous experience in a technical support or IT specialist role is preferred
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable
