Territory Sales Manager

D5 Render is a leading real-time 3D visualization and AI-powered rendering platform used by Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firms worldwide. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business acquisitions and expansions within a defined geographic territory, utilizing strong consultative selling abilities and leading product overview conversations.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Create, manage, and close new business opportunities within assigned states/territory
Run a structured sales cycle including discovery, qualification, solution mapping, trials/POCs (SE-led), negotiation, and closing
Maintain strong weekly activity and meeting levels
Build and sustain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, events, and partnerships
Ensure accurate forecasting, disciplined pipeline management, and CRM hygiene in Salesforce
Lead value-focused product overview conversations tailored to AEC workflows and business challenges
Collaborate with a Sales Engineer for all technical demos, trials, and workflow-specific presentations
Clearly articulate D5 Render’s competitive advantages and ROI
Engage Designers, Visualization Specialists, BIM/VDC Managers, Studio Directors, Principals, and C-level decision-makers
Identify client pain points, align solutions, and position D5 within their workflow and design process
Use structured selling frameworks (Sandler, MEDDPICC, etc.) to advance opportunities effectively
Identify and close upsell opportunities within existing accounts
Work closely with Customer Success and Sales Engineering to ensure customer adoption, renewal, and expansion
Partner with Marketing to maximize campaign performance, events, and lead follow-up
Provide product feedback and competitive insights to the Product and Leadership teams
Support channel partner efforts when appropriate

Qualification

Required

Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the AEC industry
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in SaaS or design-technology environments
Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills tailored to AEC personas
Ability to lead high-quality product overview discussions (all demos conducted by Sales Engineer)
Strong prospecting, pipeline building, and CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred)
Familiarity with architecture workflows, rendering processes, design deliverables, and visualization tools

Preferred

Experience selling rendering, visualization, CAD/BIM, or 3D design tools
Understanding of real-time rendering workflows, design iteration processes, and visualization pipelines
Experience selling to mid-market or large AEC firms
