Support Analyst

Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is seeking a Support Analyst to provide technical and analytical expertise for project coordination and network-related problem resolution. The role involves assisting users with their computing needs while maintaining positive relationships and developing user documentation as required.

Responsibilities

Provide microcomputer/network expertise to users of ARH Information Systems
Assist manager of department in preparing work plans/recommendations and assist with project tasks
Troubleshoot hardware and software throughout the system
Assess users needs for hardware and software as requested
Develop and maintain user documentation when required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field so they can recommend new services, products and equipment. Continue professional development by attending education programs designed for specialty areas
Analyze the feasibility of purchasing/developing microcomputer based applications (non-clinical/non-financial) to meet specific needs. This may include the evaluation of software products
Must be available to travel as requested
Perform other duties as requested

Qualification

Network experienceDesktop applicationsProject coordinationInterpersonal skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum of three (3) years related experience
Minimum Of Five (5) Years Related Experience
Demonstrated Network experience and knowledge of basic functional desktop applications such as wordprocessing, spreadsheet, graphics, and desktop publishing software required
Ability to handle multiple projects involving stressful situations
Flexibility and being a team player
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills in a very fast-paced environment
